Alvin S. Goldstein, a partner in the firm’s bankruptcy practice, specializes in complex chapter 7 and 11 proceedings. He has represented debtors, creditors, trustees and creditor committees in workouts and bankruptcy proceedings throughout the region. He also has represented many high profile private and public companies, as well as business executives and high-net-worth individuals in connection with the restructuring of their financial obligations.
Mr. Goldstein’s clients have included public communications companies, dollar stores, multi-unit gas stations, troubled real estate companies, doctors and other professionals. With significant knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the economic realities facing parities in bankruptcy proceedings, he has achieved a high success rate for his clients.
Mr. Goldstein is certified by the American Board of Certification in business bankruptcy law and the American Bankruptcy Institute. His academic training includes a law degree with honors from Boston University, and a finance degree from the Wharton School of Business.
